The Parent Teacher Association

The school is proud to have a Parent Teacher Association with a full committee, representative of all five year groups.

The committee meets half termly and the meetings are attended by the Deputy Head Students.

The PTA handles all aspects of the sale of school uniform and provides refreshments for all school functions. In addition, they arrange a series of fund raising events throughout the year, including the popular Town Quiz in the Corn Exchange each June.

The PTA raises about £11,000 each year to provide extra items for the students and to support the vast extracurricular programme. The PTA also sponsors some of the school’s prizes.
